| ACEOs are collectible little pieces of art. An ACEO is always 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches, which is the size of a standard sports trading card. The rule about size is the ONLY rule in the ACEO world. An ACEO can be created in any medium: paint, colored pencils, ink, photograph, etc. They can even be made from wood, clay, fabric, metal, etc.
They can be matted and framed to hang on a wall or displayed in plastic sheets & albums that sports card collectors use. You might give an ACEO as an extra surprise for a birthday, anniversary, or Christmas. ACEOs sell for anywhere from ninety-nine cents to over one hundred dollars or more and are either originals, limited editions or open editions! Originals are painted or drawn directly on the canvas or paper. Limited Editions are prints of larger paintings or photographs, and are limited to a specifc amount and are signed and numbered on the back. Open Editions are prints with no limitation as to how many are printed.
